Where’s Waldo?

He’s hanging out in Hamburg!

Merit Badge Books will be hosting Find Waldo Local, an exciting month-long scavenger hunt to find Waldo in twenty-two participating local businesses.

Find Waldo Local is a free, family-friendly summer activity and a wonderful way to support local businesses and the Shop Local movement. There is no charge to participate and the hunt lasts for the entire month of July.

How do you join the fun? Waldo searchers can pick up a “Find Waldo Local in Hamburg!” card at Merit Badge Books or any participating local business (You’ll start to notice a Waldo window clings in shop windows indicating that a Waldo is hidden somewhere inside!). Stop into each business and see if you can find a hidden Waldo. Once you spot him, get your card signed before you leave.

Waldo has also misplaced his magnifying glass somewhere in Merit Badge Books. If any eagle-eyed hunters can spot it, you’ll receive an extra stamp/initials!

The first 125 players who collect store initials/signatures from at least 10 different businesses and bring their passports to Merit Badge Books get an I Found Waldo sticker and a $1 off coupon for a WALDO book.

Waldo searchers who collect 16 or more initials/signatures and turn it in at Merit Badge Books get a sticker, a $1 off coupon, AND they’ll be entered into a giveaway for prize packages, which will include gift cards to local businesses, gift baskets, and an assortment of Where's Waldo? books!

Everyone who completes ALL 22 will get a second $1 off coupon and an additional entry in the giveaway drawings!

Merit Badge Books will host a We Found Waldo! Party on Saturday, August 2nd from 1-2:30 PM where we will draw names for prize winners. We will be drawing names at 2 PM and those present at that time will get preference as prize winners. If we have leftover prizes, those who complete the challenge but can't be present will also be eligible.
